FAITH SEES NOTHING AND NOBODY ELSE THAN JESUS Elijah was not just of the prophets, he was Gods prophet for his generation. He spoke boldly to both man and nature. King Ahab trembled when Elijah spoke, the heavens obeyed not to open for the rains to fall on hearing the voice of Elijah. He did great exploits for God so long as his eyes were on Jesus. The moment he took his eyes off Jesus, he started seeing Jezebel. Wonder where Jezebel was when first Elijah spoke? And once he started seeing Jezebel, his own boisterous wind, his own sinking started. It was the moment he looked away from Jesus that he started seeing himself as the only prophet standing. The more of Jesus you see, the more like him you become. The more of Jesus you see, the less of yourself you see. The more of Jesus you see, the more your doing things he did, even greater works.
