Job Description- We are looking for a person with a positive attitude, fun personality, energetic and experience in customer service and sales to fill an OPTICIAN POSITION in our Optometric office in Herriman. Duties would include assisting patients select glasses, adjusting, repairing and dispensing glasses, as well as board management. Educate patients on different lens options and assisting the doctor when needed. You will also meet with vendors for inventory control. Other duties will include patient check-in/check-out, answer phones, scheduling appointments including recalls, follow ups, and verifying insurance benefits. Requirements- Must be detail oriented, organized, and able to multi task, be self motivated, and a quick learner. Strong communication skills involving customer interaction and phone etiquette is a must. Willing to be cross- trained in other specialty areas of the office. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. This position is full time Monday- Thursday 9 am -6 pm and Fridays 7 am - 4 pm. We are open one Saturday a month on a rotating schedule.
