FAMOUS FRIDAY is about 6 degrees of separation! Wiki defines this phenomenon as: Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of a friend of a friend statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps. It was originally set out by Frigyes Karinthy and popularized by a play written by John Guare. (And somehow Kevin Bacon got involved....) HERES AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT COUNTS & WHAT DOESNT COUNT: One of my favorite actors is Jennifer Garner. One of my cousins worked briefly in Disney animation in LA & walked past Jennifer at the studio lot. That doesnt count because he didnt talk to her. Rumor has it that he was so twitterpated that he couldnt open his mouth... but she already had Ben Afleck so I suppose he wouldnt have wanted to break up the marriage... One of my friends is actual FRIENDS with bluegrass musician Ricky Skaggs. THAT COUNTS. SO! Who is connected to you with 6 or fewer degrees of separation?
