FAN QUESTION Re-Posted by ~Corrina hi please repost... urgent. sorry so long.. my 6 week old daughter has colic, so we give her gripe water. i gave her some a few minutes ago, and when i went to burp her, ( she coughed during the medicine intake, and a bubble was in her tummy, one that i could hear and feel) so i burped her, so glad i had her to where i could see her face, because she stopped breathing, turned purple immediatly, and her eyes rolled back into her head and she became dead weight, it scared me, so i blew air into her mouth, and barely jerked her, along with yelling for my husband, and that made her breath again.. she was not asleep... or pooping, she was just sitting there, then purple.. im so afraid, for a second i felt like i lost my babygirl.. so please if anyone has any idea on what this was, please let me know.. she is fine now, and is asleep on my chest as i type this,i am not be laying her down any time soon, not until i know she will continue to breath, she was not early, and had NO problems after birth, she is on soy formula because she was spitting up a lot at first, and was breastfed the first week, until she made my previous piercing holes bleed through...she is healthy, gaining weight, and is even starting to hold her head up. she is perfect. other then this.... so please.. help this very terrified mother of 2 out.. please?
