FANTASTIC NEWS Humbercare are pleased to announce that they will soon be opening a winter shelter in the city of Hull, the service will assist Hull City Council in its cold weather provision. Its aim is to reduce the incidences of rough sleeping and provide alternatives to A&E admissions and custody. Whilst the service will be staffed by experienced and trained staff, there will still be a reliance on volunteers to assist in the running of the service. The organisation will shortly be advertising for staff and volunteers as well as for donations of food and provisions. The service further cements Humbercare as a leading organisation in the Humber sub region that works with those hardest to engage, those with complex needs and entrenched rough sleepers.
