FAO APOLLO ROCKETS 7th October 2014 I’d like to congratulate all the Rockets and Parents who raced and came down to show support on Sunday, we had an absolutely fantastic day. All the Rockets who rode did amazingly well and we even had another medal with Thomas McAlindin . The win is the bonus, the smiles are the real prize, we literally couldn’t be happier with your class and everyone of you made us proud to be in Apollo. I’ll post the full race results once they come in. ROUND 2 Round 2 of the Ulster Cyclocross League is now open for Pre Reg. This Sundays race is in Lady Dixon Park in Belfast. If you don’t know where Lady Dixon Park is we can drive down in convoy. The race schedule will be the same as last week. If anybody needs a lift let us know and we’ll get a seat for you APOLLO CLUB KIT Due to the expansion of our club this past 2 years we now operate an online store, it’s the only practical way to do it. We use an American company called Pactimo, they are world class and provide clothing to many pro teams. This is how it works. 1… Go to pactimo 2… Click the link My Team Store at the top of the page 3… You be asked to type a password to enter the store, the password is apollo 4… Choose whatever club kit you want (MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE DETAILED SIZING GUIDE) 5… Pay 6… Wait 5 weeks for you kit to be manufactured and posted to the club. This way we get the kit made as a group order. Please note. For the small Rockets I recommend the 2XS Ladies Continental Short Sleeve and work up from there. Please check the size guide. APOLLO ROCKETS …. THE MOVIE I’m delighted to be able to tell you or little film project is complete and is more charming than we ever could’ve hoped for. We’re going to have its WORLD PREMIERE in the club rooms at 9:30 SHARP on Saturday morning. The film is only a couple of minutes long, I hope to use it to get a grant or two next year for which I have plans for the Rockets. Bike Pure our partner in the film are going to be introducing it to the world on Sunday evening via their website and youtube channel but not before we get to see it. We will be going for a quick half lap of the lakes before taking the bigger Rockets and the Senior riders for some hill sprints. If you want to bring the kids, and please do, they MUST have lights.
