FAQ: Will There Be a Uniform? Yes, the current dress code for West Midlands Construction UTC depends on the student’s day activity/occasion. For the everyday attire of WMCUTC students are required to wear a branded shirt, with either long or short sleeves and a pair of black trousers or knee length skirt, girls are not required to wear a skirt if they choose not to. The uniform must be paired with a zip up WMCUTC branded fleece and a pair of formal/sensible shoes. For a formal occasion of West Midlands Construction UTC students clothing requirements depends on their year group (10-11 & 12-13). Year 10/11 students must wear the standard uniform (as above) or an optional suite with the branded WMCUTC shirt and tie. Year 12/13 students are required to wear a black suite with either a pair of black trousers or knee length skirt with the WMCUTC branded shirt and tie. Both uniforms must be paired with a pair of black formal shoes, no high heels or trainers.
