FASHION, MAKE-UP, JEWELRIES TROUSERS ETC AND HEAVEN Brother Emmanuel asked this question CAN THOSE WHO ARE GIVEN TO FASHION OR MAKE-UP MAKE HEAVEN?! and demanded sincere answer and I decided to share with the awaiting bride of Christ, what His excellency Holy Spirit has been teaching me concerning fashion, make-up, Jewelries, trousers etc 2 Peter 1:2-3 (Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue) God through His divine power has given us all things to live a godliness life through His word. The bible is our manuel to guide us in everything to live a godliness life. Proverbs 14:12 says there is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Fashion, make-up, jewelries, trousers etc does it take us to heaven or hell? Our manuel the bible has an answer. I will like to start from Genesis. When God created man, He place him in the garden of Eden, and instructed him on how to live. When man disobeyed the command of God, He realised that he was naked and decided to make for himself a dressing. But when God came, He realised that they did not have a proper dressing and He made for them a dressing.(Genesis 2:15-17, 3:7,21) In Genesis 2:15-17 (Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”) In Genesis 3:7( Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.) Genesis 3:21 Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. Dressing started from Genesis. The are two dress makers here, one made of God and one made of the sinful nature of man. The sinful nature of man is the nature of the devil. In other words one made of flesh and one made of Spirit. Galatians 5:17( The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.) Dressing with the one made by God pleases God and dressing with the one made by the sinful nature of man pleases the devil. The first five books of the old testament Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deutoronomy are the books of the law. In them we find laws given by Jehovah the Almighty God to Moses the best friend of God that saw Him face to face. what does the law says in these books about dressing. When God gave Moses instructions on how to make and use His alter in the tent of the meetings what did He said (Exodus 20:22-26) in verse 26 And do not go up to my altar on steps, or your private parts may be exposed.’ And remember Jesus said your body is the temple of God 1 Corinthians 6:19-20(Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.) When we put on dresses that exposes our anathomy, the trousers, tide, mini skirts etc does that pleases God or the devil, are we dressing for God or the devil? Deutoronomy 22:5 (A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.) Romans 7:7 (What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, You shall not covet.) The law exposes sin, for example when you go to the public toilets what signs are used to indicate that these are mens toilets TROUSERS and female toilets SKIRTS. But today what do we see all over the globe 99.9% of women dressing with trousers and underwears walking the street. Women were is our destination in trousers, short mini tide skirts, etc ? Luke 11:37-42 verses 39-40 (Then the Lord said to him, “Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. 40 You foolish people! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?) Where then is the gospel of God does not care how we look on the outside (body), He care only for your inside (spirit) ? Let not be deceive God is concern with our Spirit, Soul and Body. We have all sin and fall short of the Gods glory( Romans 3:23). Yet it is not late for there is hope for the living(1 Peter 1:3-9 ).1John1:8-10 (8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.) I believe the Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the son of God. I believe He came from heaven. I believe He was crucified and He died for sinners of whom I was chief. I believe He was buried but He rose again after three days. I believe He appeared several times to His disciples after His ressuration. I believe He ascended to heaven I believe He is coming again to take those that believe in Him with Him back to heaven. I have given my life to Him. I BELIEVE AND HAS INVITED HIM INTOMY LIFE WHAT ABOUT YOU? BELIEVE AND INVITE HIM IN YOUR LIFE AND BE SAVE AND LET HIS GRACE KEEP US UNTIL HIS COMING.
