FASO| CALLING! WHY WE MUST SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF BURKINA FASO People, We the people of Cameroon and of sub-Saharan Africa must show our support the people of Burkina Faso in their struggle to put an end to the Dictatorship of this tyrant called Blaise Compaore. This is a guy who came to power through a coup d’etat, leaving the entire continent of Africa in shock as he betrayed his close and loyal friend Thomas Sankara. He has since been ruling this poor country now for close to 3 decades with the blessing of France, the slave master who only sees sub-Saharan Africa as its plantation, and perceives any movement to awaken the African people as a threat to its interest. We, the people of FrancAfrique, even as we bravely confront our own tyrants, can all sympathize and empathize with the struggle of the people of Burkina Faso to rid themselves of this “small man” whose ultra ego has held this country hostage and enslaved its poor people now for 3 decades. If they succeed to stop him there, it will be a great victory not just for Burkina Faso, but for the entire FrancAfrique, because it sends the clear and resounding message to other tyrants like him –Paul Biya, Sassou Nguesso and others— that the people of FrancAfrique simply can’t take it anymore. It will inform the world that our people are sick and tired of being sick and tired, and refuse to surrender to Dictatorship, exploitation, slavery and generational poverty. As the French would put it, “Nous en avons Ras-le-scaramagna” ou “Ras-le-bol”, which ever one you prefer. It can be said that the Blood of Sankara is haunting Compaore. Paul Biya, the blood of the Cameroonian people is closing up to you. Where are you gonna hide ?
