FB Family and Friends, Next week I begin a new journey in my professional life. I have accepted the position of Director of Planning and Community Development with the City of Mobile, Alabama. Departing the City of Delray Beach is a bitter sweet moment for me. I have been surrounded by the best city workers. I am especially grateful to Mrs. Lula Butler my Director for all of the trust and development she has poured into me over the last four years. Much, much thanks and respect to my staff… my team for reaching great heights and desire for a successful and clear community development program. You have been the best. Please keep my family and me in your prayers as we transition into new roles, adventures, opportunities and most of all, God’s blessings and favor. If you have followed my professional career, you have heard me speak of my professional spiritual foundation. “Rebuilding the Wall”, The Book of Nehemiah. As a professional I seek to continue to help communities and citizens to enhance and sustain their lives and communities. I pray I have done so in Delray Beach, and I pray that it is the job God has for me in Mobile, AL. For those pray warriors out there, speak LIFE over my family and me at the time.
