I went to WW left there and drove down Shackleford to Rodney Parham someone had partied a little early and apparently hit a power pole which knocked out power for blocks and blocks (probably a mile) in the residential and commercial areas no working traffic lights, pitch black. Not good for all the restaurants, families that were needing to leave home for parties etc. I was trying to find a gas station that the pumps would work. A great inconvenience, not sure how long it will take for restoration of power I know it gets cold quickly when you heat with electricity with these low temperatures I am sure the homes are cold by now. I hope the driver of the occupants of the vehicle are ok and the power has been restored. After the news I am going to bed so Happy New Year everyone!
