FB/ listen to the words of Paul: "Be ye not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your minds." The work of a true fisherman is not to only catch the fish, but to transform the life of a sinner into a reflective life of Jesus Christ. If we can’t see Jesus everywhere in the church, then we have not fully done our job. Paul said, because Christ was not yet formed in the people, he couldn’t leave them. If Christ must be formed in the people, then Christ first has to be formed in us in order for us to form him in the congregation. And even though we are not what we should be yet, we should begin to see Christ coming through us just as Jesus was transfigured on the Mount. What does that mean? It means that the figure of Christ came across his own personality; he died in order that God may live in him. Jesus is exalted man or God in Man. If we’re going to be his disciples, you have to see his figure, his face, his personality, and his character coming across ours. We must subordinate our character to reflect Him. Christ was humble, but most of us as Shepherds are arrogant, very haughty and proud. Our people are dying due to a lack of knowledge. But, Christ was no lightweight teacher. He said, "I am the light of the world." His teachings shed light on every dark corner of knowledge. You can’t be ignorant and say you are a man of God and following Jesus Christ. It’s not about people praising you and carrying your bag and buying us nice cars and homes. It’s about how many souls have you planted the seed of Christ in. How many souls have you fed that Christ starts reflecting in them? If you are giving a man a personal relationship with Christ, you’re doing your job. You’ve married the person to the real Leader, and then you step back and keep on feeding him and go yourself where you are telling him to go.
