FBC Missions Highlight - week of July 13 Sunrise Childrens Services is the largest private childcare agency offering a full continuum of services for abused and neglected children and at-risk families. In 2012, Sunrise cared for an average of 600 children each day. They have provided 150,197 days of care to more than 1,700 children across Kentucky. It is our privilege to support Sunrise through our missions efforts during the month of July. Our Womens Ministry is collecting school supplies for the Danville Sunrise Childrens Home throughout the month. A basket is located in the Missions Hallway outside of the Sanctuary for all donations. Suggested items include: markers, crayons, #2 pencils, pens (black or blue), glue and/or glue sticks, composition books, loose leaf notebook paper, paper towels, tissues, and hand sanitizer. In addition, Walmart Gift Cards can be given to allow the staff of Sunrise to purchase what is needed. If you would like to purchase a gift card, please drop it by the church office or put it in the offering plate during church service. Please remember to annotate that it is for the Sunrise Childrens Home. May many children and their families come to know the love of the Lord through our giving.
