FBK SATURDAY, 17 May 2014 Keep walking till the wall falls. Joshua 6 It is interesting to know that in our passage, only Joshua knows how long does the Israelite soldiers need to walk around the city before the wall falls. So imagine of you are an Israelite soldier, and wondering on the first day what needs to be done before you can claim the promised city. Then the second day and you did the same walking around the city. Then the third, fourth, fifth day comes, same thing. You might begin to doubt your leader, the process you are following. You might want to quit now. But in this passage, we learned that if only we will obey, and obey continually, then the seventh day will come that we can now claim the promise, the hindrances removed, the blessing right in front of our eyes. May we continually obey God as we claim His promises toward us through His word, believing, and keeping the faith along the way? (CONTRIBUTOR: John Wilter Agnes)
