FC2K... Aim in sight A while ago we announced a campaign to try and get 2,000 fans to our remaining home games, in order to push our average crowd up to the 1,900 it has been for the past two seasons. This would positively impact our position going into next season, when we will enter our new home. For details of why the 1,900 average is important read our original story fc-utd.co.uk/story.php?story_id=5306 Due to the two large crowds we have enjoyed for our Chorley and Buxton games, our aim is now very achievable. We now currently have an average of 1,882. The FC2K campaign targeted a total attendance of 20,000 from the last 10 matches. From the last eight games we have had an impressive 18,381 supporters through the gates. So, to achieve our aim and average 1,900 as per previous seasons, we need to get 4,200 supporters through the gates from our last two home games. We have seen a fantastic response to the campaign and everyone deserves credit for helping grow our attendances, by bringing friends, printing match posters or promoting the club on social media. The increased crowds have helped us to become the current ninth best supported in non-league. See here: nonleaguematters.co.uk/global/attendances/ Furthermore, if we do manage to achieve that 1,900 average, our attendances will be higher than three League Two clubs: Dagenham and Redbridge - 1,890 Morecambe - 1,843 Accrington - 1,568 So, get yourselves to the football grounds (Stalybridge tonight and Bury on Monday), bring some mates...and let’s FC2K our way to Moston...
