FDI is NEVER a solution for a) flawed system b) incompetence resulting due to flawed system. Whether its FDI in Weapon mfg or in Education - it is NOT a solution. Our manufacturing (be it weapon or anything else) is PATHETIC due to corruption, nepotism and red-tapism on EVERY bureaucratic level. Our education systems are third class because of the corruption from ministry to the teachers recruiters. Our top notch students, scientists etc leave country due to above mentioned (and several others) problems. How the hell FDI solves these issues? Solution is - RTR on every level, Jury System in Judiciary and Transparent Opinion Gathering. No FDI. No quick fixes. via- omkar dabhadkar
