FDRs policies of Lend-lease and helping the allies were a hard - TopicsExpress

FDRs policies of Lend-lease and helping the allies were a hard sell to the voters of the 30s. BECAUSE THEY WERE WIMPS AND MORONS. DUH! It took pearl harbor to bring them to their senses. The job of a leader is to LEAD and take the right position, however unpopular, not to follow the crowd just for job security, as you always do. As the creator of the universe once said, thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil. If you were alive in the 30s, which you werent I see whom YOU would follow: Lindbergh and the America firsters. what the hell do you care how many wars we fight? Dont worry. we wont send YOU. your precious beard is safe. And you dont have any sons for us to draft, and even if you did, there IS no draft...so how does this affect YOU? Thats right. It DOESNT. so shut up, leave alone things you would never interact with, like war, and go back to the things you DO interact with, like gay sodomy and pot.
