FEAR GOD Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. - 1 Peter 2:17 KJV The term the fear of God in the Bible does not connote being afraid. It is the attitude of reference and respect for God that makes one to engage thoughts, words and actions that reveal to God that we truly respect Him. How much of your words and actions reflect respect for God deeply during a 24hour cycle of a day? Can you reflect on yesterday and identify specific things you did that brought respect and honor to God? If you can’t pin point specific words you spoke and particular activities you engaged in to honor God in the last few days, it may be that you are not honoring God enough. We need to look for things we can engage on a daily basis that will bring honor and respect to our God and as we do this, we pray that the Almighty God will honor and raise your head high in life & honor you among the sons & daughters of men in Jesus name. Prayers 1. Pray for the attitude of reference and honor for God to fill your heart. 2. Invoke the blood of Jesus Christ to destroy every thought and attitude of disrespect in your heart against the Lord. 3. Thank God for the answered prayers. Faith confessions I honor and fear God all the days of my life in Jesus name. I live to honor God. I have grace and wisdom to honor and show great respect for God in Jesus name. Amen.
