FEAR NOT...POSSIBILITIES STILL HAPPEN Reading the account of Luke in the titular book of the Bible, chapter 1, the virgin Mary poses a rather logical question that any thinking human being could have reasoned as well, How will this be..? (see Luke 1:24) The preceding part of this nativity story, is brought to life when a supernatural being from the heavens materializes before Zechariah, 6 months prior with a message of equal incredulity - the birth of a child , a desire long dormant, maybe one of forlorn hope. In the inner sanctum where he conducts his ministerial duties, we are let it on this (seemingly) secret conversation. Zechariah, feared dead by the rest of the oblivious service group of the day, comes out of the temple lost for words, literally, but with an assurance that what he thought impossible just turned possible. Fast forward in time, 6 months after, this same celestial herald, called Gabriel, visits Mary in the Nazareth town in Galilee with a message that is as unfathomable as it is humanly impossible. Gabriel in response, goes on to say that for this to happen, The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you... In other words, it will take the sole genius of God to bring this message to bear What God planned to do through Mary was give divinity flesh and bones that through the miracle of incarnation (God dressed up in humanity), eventually unite the whole of creation back to its original harmony with the Father, to bring mankind into His Family. It seemed impossible, but as Gabriel put it, Do not be afraid...For no word from God will ever fail. I echo these same words to you, even as I paraphrase, Fear not, with God nothing is impossible. i pray you have heavens visitation this Christmas Week.
