FEATURED INSTRUCTOR INTRODUCTION: Hi! My name is Meg Snipes and I am from Sicily. I started my dance career when I was 8 years old. After over 7 years of ballet and pointe i decided to step out of my comfort zone of discipline and posture and go crazy doing hip-hop and jazz!! I had so much fun performing with my crew in theatres around Italy. I came to the States in 2005. I first heard about zumba at the annual recital for Dance Academy of Santa Rosa County where I was teaching hip-hop in 2008...a friend of mine told me about this fun innovative dance based fitness and I took my first class in August 2009...got licensed in September 2009 and I was the first instructor to introduce Zumba Fitness in Milton, FL with a great turnout!! I consider myself very blessed in so many ways.. I get to do what I love (dancing), I get to touch peoples lives by sharing my passion and I get to meet wonderful instructor and contribute to help amazing causes like ConnectMed International. I love chocolate, cooking and fishing. Back home my friends used to call me the Chameleon because I would change hair color every 2 weeks...some of the crazy color I had were:electric blue, hot pink, black with red!!! I currently teach at L.A. Fitness in 4S Ranch and seasonally at Poway Community pool for my favorite format AquaZumba!! I also have Zumba Toning.
