FEED OUR RECYCLE FRIENDS! Miss Lily & I have been busy making our new recycle friends! This project may have taken about 10 times longer than planned, due to the extra pair of hands “helping” but we got there :) As mentioned in a previous post, we are currently implementing sustainable practices within the centre. Since this week is Clean Up Australia week, it is a good week to start asking families to bring in clean recyclable items! Items such as: Egg cartons Water/plastic bottles Plastic Fruit Containers Clean yoghurt tubs Cereal/food Boxes Tissue boxes Paper towel rolls (not toilet rolls) Some weeks we may ask for specific items, for example Miss Adele is requesting tissue boxes please! These items will be used for craft, dramatic play, in the sandpit and the list goes on. Please feed our new friends as they are HUNGRY (hence the monster with the cranky face)!
