FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD: 1 Corinthians 1:9; John 15:4-8 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His son Jesus Christ our Lord (1Cor. 1:9, kjv) One of the greatest privileges of life is to be involved in a relationship with people that matter. It gives one an air of importance and social security. But the privileges of such relationship only avail when the relationship is functional. What makes relationship functional is called fellowship. In Greek, it is koinonia which literally means participation or intercourse. It speaks of deeper levels of interaction, partnership and communion. God has conferred on us the highest honour by opening the door for direct personal interaction with Him and His Son Jesus Christ. It is pathetic that most of us treat such an awesome privilege with disdain. Can you imagine the offer to have a personal dinner with Governor of your State or the President of your country? But opportunity for fellowship with the Lord of Host is a million times awe inspiring, yet it is shrugged aside by many. Make out time to be with Him today. Re-programme yourself, He longs to fellowship with you. Fruitfulness is A Reward Of Fellowship With God.
