FFK/AIT: MATRIMONY OF STUPIDITY - Its quite wondrous that the effective and enveloping Buhari wind of change blowing across the nation, beside being mind arresting, is significantly being sponsored by its arch enemies. A reference case is an ongoing scripted Buhari documentary being aired by AIT;j an apt description of Nollywood gone berserk for lack of substance and professionalism. The production, if anything, was the clearest explanation of the moral bankruptcy taking charge of the minds of so called professional media consultants and other media derivatives feeding fat on the loose Nigerian system and the gullibility of an intellectually lazy society. To listen to FFK, a supposed lawyer who seem to have discovered a short-cut to professional excellence - a short-cut that relies on genetic affiliation rather than intellectual prowess - inviting people to watch the poorly doctored documentary, to say the least, its irritatingly repulsive beside being a clear proof of the low intellectual meter level of the managers of Nigerias affairs. When rumors started going round about an alleged payment of N1bn each to some selected media Houses to embark on a rigorous campaign to smear General Buharis hard earned reputation, I expected a more mature and sensible effort that will justify the huge cheque but, true to type, the best shot from AIT so far is akin to taking a dead horse to a race; not that I expect anything better or different from the bunch of retards striving hard to restore hope to the passengers of the sinking PGEJ ship. The inaccuracies contained in the disjointed production could easily pass for a work of an out of job desperate producer who saw a glimmer of hope in a desperate situation and took it for the cheap benefits contained therein. No producer worth his name will put his integrity on the line by mutilating history and facts in the senseless and outrageously stupid manner the silly production was made but for the expected benefits involved. Its amazing that a supposed media outfit, even if lacking in reputation could miss the basics of historical events that could be said to have moulded the moral outlook of Nigeria. How could anybody miss the fact that Gloria Okon happened under the regime of IBB especially given the fact that many Nigerians associate Dele Giwas assassination with the Okons case? The funniest of the allegations dusted by the FFK assembled crack team of media detectives was the laughable, overused and outrageously silly issue of a N2.8bn supposedly stolen under Buharis regime as Minister of Petroleum but, which arithmetic prove nothing but the intellectual emptiness of the proponents of the idea. Giving the fact that Nigeria at the time was exporting 1.82 million barrels a day and the cost of barrel was $18 while Naira was stronger than the dollar, its better imagined how N2.8bn could simply go missing in the Nigerian economy without anybody having reasonable evidence to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt to get a conviction. In todays term and using todays Naira to dollar exchange rate, one is only suggesting the possibility of someone stealing N560,000,000,000 (N560bn) with nobody having the faintest clue of how the heist was pulled or where the proceeds was stashed. Despite their high level stupidity, I dont want to believe FFK and his foot soldiers want to have Nigerians believe the culprit - Muhammadu Buhari - is saving the loot for rainy day since nothing in his lifestyle suggest a billionaire. Of course, to supporters of a regime that could allow $20bn to go missing without trace, this oddity may sound possible. But, where did Buhari got the moral energy to stop corruption in its tracks not long after supposedly stealing N560bn? Deserving more explanation was the silence of many powerful Nigerians who should know if Buhari had stolen a cent from Nigeria yet, tasted his bitter anti corruption pills without minimum effort to question his moral integrity. President Jonathan recently reminded Nigerians that Jim Nwobodo stole only N5000 yet, was jailed by Buhari. How he remained silent about Buharis stinking cupboard with a rotten corpse of N560bn will make an excellent topic for students of history. In any case, somebody should explain why, for the 5 years they have been in charge - most of which they spent battling Buhari - it never cross the minds of President Jonathan and his handlers to open a probe on the issue if not for the benefit of Nigeria at least, to neutralize the threat Buhari represent to their ambitions - a threat that has now grown into a monster about to consume them. In just few months this bunch will be taught a lesson in probe. They will learn how seemingly covered tracks of thieves could easily be exposed to trail the real billions stolen by the gang. AIT will still be around to tell the story of FFK and the rest. In the next few months they will know how futile their efforts to twist history were. For a start, they should start with the ongoing AIT online polls which, in my opinion was scripted to serve as impact assessment to determine Buharis popularity after the shameful documentary but which, so far put him far ahead PGEJ with 72% participants casting their votes for him.
