FGM CAMPAIGN vs RIGHTS N FREEDOM OF SUSPECTS: this woman was arested in conection with KMQ case where a pupil passed on after the cut.wen she stood for mention she said n i quote who is my accuser?.,is it the chief who came for me at maili tisa?.the alleged cutter, Selina Korinko confessed that she used to cut but has since stopped or tis a very long time since she did so. reliable sources told us that the provincial adminstration were lured by the prosecution to bring Korinko so that she cud be warned of dire punishment if she goes on cutting only for to be locked in for seven day for investigation to be completed for the sin she committed not. While arested a chief at Narok whos alleged to av cut his daughters,the police acted as if theyre aresting an armed terrorist.,the man was roughed up in public n stripped of his garment for ceremonies n whisked away like a criminal yet hes a suspect.this is an acceptable bekoz he never resisted to be arested.back to kmq case the woman said to be a guardian to da deceased pupil had an infant whos age we aproximate to be 4 months old was also arested n ordered to stay in custody for a week,the fate of the babe is unknown.we hope that in the war against fmg,suspects fundamental rights and freedoms will not be violated.
