FHSU student organizations give students the opportunity to change lives -- while being changed themselves. Tigers in Service set up an Alternative Winter Break trip to New Mexico where 17 students and one faculty member worked with Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity. Working with Habitat for Humanity in Santa Fe was an impacting experience. We helped build a duplex right alongside the friendly Habitat staff and the soon-to-be owners. This trip was especially meaningful to me, having survived the Greensburg tornado. I will continue to pay it forward with trips like these throughout my life. - FHSU senior Brandon Taylor.
