FIGHT FEAR WITH LOVE Surely GOD IS MY SALVATION, I will trust and not be afraid, Isaiah 12:2.” In times of great danger our human instincts compel us to focus on survival and self-preservation. At times our minds become confused when fear takes over and we find it difficult to think clearly. It is in circumstances like these that we run the risk of being overwhelmed by the difficulties that confront us. It is important to know that GOD’S LOVE IS ALL-EMBRACING and encompasses every facet of our lives. He constantly watches over us, and always ready to listen to our cries of distress, at all times. When we do feel that God is far away, it could be that we have distanced ourselves from Him in some way, not He from us. In spite of anything that may happen to us, always remember that Jesus the living Christ offers us salvation. He gave us His Holy Spirit to carry us through all the difficulties and distresses of life, especially those issues that we cannot resolve in our own strength. When trials are staring us in the face, do not give in to the human temptation to give in because of fear. Let us open up our hearts to Jesus, He has overcome the evil one. Let us put our trust in the Lord and always remember, “THERE IS NO FEAR IN LOVE, BUT PERFECT LOVE DRIVES OUT FEAR, 1 John 4:18.” Holy Master, we place our complete faith in Your ability to drive out all our fears, in Jesus name we pray, Amen!
