FILM SCHOOL IS IN SESSION! Tonights lesson is requested by AJ Gauthier, who loves Miami this time of year...or at least back in 1983, because thats when... Scarface was made! Did you know? + Originally dried milk was going to be used for the cocaine prop, however it didnt fit well when it came to shooting scenes with it. So what did they use? Well...nobody knows except Director Brian de Palma, who refuses to admit what was ultimately used because hes afraid that it would destroy the illusion of realism. + For the tech geeks out there: The gun props had electronic devices equipped to them that would sync with the camera to better capture muzzle flashes when fired, which would only happen when the cameras shutter was open. + Just goes to show how big an influence ol Scarface was to real world villainy: Saddam Hussein had a corporation in charge of laundering his money from various enterprises that was called Montana Management. Got a movie youd like to know more about? Sound off below or on my Facebook page! \m/ (⌐■_■) -Sandman-
