FINAL PLEA: MEN NEEDED THIS WEEKEND! If we do not get commitments ( by Thursday) from a few men to help build Rockys fence this weekend we will cancel it, and he will remain chained. SOAR relies on volunteers to do ALL the vital work that we do in the communities that we serve. We MUST have help to build fences and work our events that bring in the funds to build the fences, give out straw, pay for medical bills, etc. Volunteers have been scarce and it leaves us (three ladies) to work every event and all the other behind the scenes stuff that has be done to keep a rescue operating. If you LOVE what SOAR does, Please give some of your time. Its easy to love what we do from afar, but it doesnt help the dogs. We have TWO areas in which to volunteer THIS WEEKEND and three of us cant be in two places. 1. Relay for Life Craft Fair Lemons Mill Elementary Georgetown Ky . Sat. from 9-4 . (This brings in the funds) 2. Build a fence in Georgetown for a chained dog, which is the heart of what we do. 9-?.
