FINALLY!! I have some good news to share! First, my docs office called this morning and said the test results of my tumor says that I would NOT benefit from chemo! Woo hoo! No chemo! I just have to do some hormone therapy since my tumor liked estrogen.... just a pill. I can start radiation treatments now. Michael Hancock also has good news....... the docs adjusted his meds and think they found the right combination. I just spoke to his nurse who read his file to me because I didnt believe them...... They removed 2 chest tubes a couple of days ago and should be able to remove the last 2 tomorrow. Once those are removed, he can be transferred to rehab....... he says as early as later this week! I am crossing my fingers and praying that this is not another one of their oh wait...scratch that, we were wrong like they have done several times. Hell probably be in rehab for a few weeks before he can come home but at least hell be in town! Cautiously optimistic ;)
