FINDING HOMES FOR SURVIVORS OF THE DOG MEAT TRADE - SO SCARED, SO ALONE... Thousands of dogs have been rescued from the Illegal Dog Meat Trade and now live specially constructed shelters in Northern Thailand, with concrete runs each containing around 300 dogs. Life here is very tough and only the strongest survive. Many die from disease and sadly the timid, frightened ones sometimes die in dog fights. Thankfully some of these dogs are lucky enough to find new homes both in Thailand and abroad. K9Aid have helped send some of these dogs to loving, forever homes in countries like USA, Canada, UK & Europe. The costs involved in transporting these dogs abroad can sometimes be high, so your donations help ensure these dogs can travel to their homes abroad & help adopters afford the journey. Without your help many more of these dogs are destined to live in fear in these shelters for the rest of their lives.
