FINDING JEANIE UPDATE: This issue has been raised. Its a matter of equal treatment under the law. If I had succeeded in my name change application effort with SSA in 2003 I would have been able to work in US. I would have had a valid SSN. Also, if I were able to file for my benefits both SS and Medicare, I would have been enjoying those benefits for almost 6 years now. The SS payments would have totaled tens of thousands$. Considering that some of my FB friends and classmates have already died, who is to say that I will live long enough to make up the difference of the past 6 years! Especially considering what has already happened to me and Aggie..wonder if this is a calculation that may be causing the SSA delay? I do have a right to Appeal...
