#FINDYOURMIND The reason we should not fall for cynical Christians or Christian leaders who find faults in others is that when you get close to them, they are not better than the ideologies they condemn, and the people they constantly, indirectly or directly criticize. One of the quotable quotes I memorized as a young teenager was, Theres so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, so none of us should talk about the rest of us. If you listen to Martin Luther King Juniors DRUM MAJOR INSTINCT, youll discover that often times, the reason why people criticize others is because they cant handle the fact that the people they criticize are getting more attention, they have more influence and their voice is more heard. They want what those people have (the attention, results, platform, money, people, respect, praise, influence and affluence, etc) and criticism is the only way to express their anger, insecurities, dissatisfaction, and bitterness. Often times, the reason a Christian or Christian leader commits himself to daily finding of faults in other Christians or ministries is because he is seeing someone he feels he is better than, someone he feels doesnt deserve or earn it succeed where he is inadequate. You can package it like bitter truth, but you know in your heart that you are struggling, I AM TOO.... WE ALL ARE. If you think the church has lost it. If you think all Christians and Christian leaders (Apart from yourself) have gone astray and you can do something about it, why not DO SOMETHING to bring everybody back to your right path and stop struggling to make yourself look better or look like our 21st century Prophet Isaiah ? A lot of young Pastors and Christians condemn our fathers in the faith how they unconsciously or consciously parade themselves as Gods. Fine, they have their excesses which sometimes are annoying. But from experience(s), I have seen in our own mini circles or platforms, how we constantly manipulate, intimidate, harass, and brainwash our followers and the innocent people who look up to us to worship us, never question anything we say or do, anyone that questions us is disloyal and rebellious because we parade an infallible nature. Do we see that if we switch platforms with one of this big name pastors, we wont be better in any way and our errors and excesses would become more visible and obvious to more people? And at that point our fame will make us blind and our successes will deafen us to contrary opinions . Success reveals who we are. The only time we have a problem with praise is when it is directed at someone else. #DRUMMAJORINSTINCT The only time we have problems with the SPOT LIGHT is when the lights are not shining on us, but someone we think we are better than or has not earned it. Dont give anybody your attention because they are quick to expose other people or ministrys flaws. The simple solution is, if everybody is wrong, BE RIGHT. In the midst of darkness, shine the light. Think good, speak good, and see good. That is the higher life. There is a DRUM MAJOR INSTINCT in all of us, so none of us should be quick to criticize any of us.
