FIRE WEATHER WARNING FOR TOMORROW 6th OCTOBER IDS20290 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology South Australia Fire Weather Warning for the North West Pastoral, North East Pastoral, Flinders and Mount Lofty Ranges forecast districts Issued at 3:23 pm CDT on Sunday 5 October 2014. Weather Situation Warm to hot, dry and very windy with northwesterly winds around 55-65 km/h ahead of a milder west to southwesterly change around 20-40 km/h. The change is expected near Ceduna at around 8 am, Adelaide around 2 pm and clearing the northeast of the State by midnight. Possible thunderstorms ahead of and near the change. For Monday 6 October: Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast districts: North West Pastoral, North East Pastoral and Mount Lofty Ranges The Country Fire Service advises that fires burning under these conditions are likely to be fast-moving and uncontrollable. Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following forecast district: Flinders The Country Fire Service advises that fires burning under these conditions are likely to be fast-moving and uncontrollable.
