FIRE WEATHER WARNING for the Channel Country, Central West, Central Highlands and Coalfields, and parts of the Maranoa and Warrego districts Issued at 5:07pm EST on Sunday the 15th of September 2013 for the remainder of today and Monday. A trough west of Queensland is expected to enter the southwest of the state tonight and move through western districts during Monday. Hot, dry and gusty winds associated with the trough are expected to cause the following conditions: Severe Fire Danger in the Channel Country and Central West districts for the remainder of today. Temperatures up to 37 degrees, relative humidity down to 10%, and winds to 45 km/h are expected. Severe Fire Danger in the Channel Country, Central West, Central Highlands and Coalfields, and northern and western parts of the Maranoa and Warrego district on Monday. Temperatures up to 39 degrees, relative humidity down to 10%, and winds to 50 km/h are expected. The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service, Rural Fire Service Queensland advises that fires will be uncontrollable and fast-moving. The next warning will be issued at 11pm EST.
