FIRST ALERT: An Upper level trough is one of the key ingredients for Tuesdays potential storms. The GFS (American) model has trended to a slower solution, when compared to the past few days, for the arrival of the trough... (as did the European) keeping it from passing above until Wednesday and after the weather... that could be good news for less strong storms. One thing seems certain; were in for a soaker! We will keep you posted in the First Alert Weather Center ... still potential for a few strong storms late Tuesday..and overnight into early Wednesday. If you are traveling away from Jacksonville for Christmas... there will be impacts from this storm system as well. Join Chief Meteorologist Mike Buresh starting at 5 pm on CBS47 Action News.
