FIRST ANNUAL MIKE ANDRY MEMORIAL RIDE SET FOR JULY 12 (Marion, IN) The first annual Lt. Mike Andry Memorial Motorcycle Ride will take place Saturday, July 12th on the first anniversary of his untimely death. Andry was a 21-year deputy with the Grant County Sheriffs Department. Proceeds will be shared between the Grant County Sheriff Departments “Sheriffs Gifts for Kids” program and the Marion Fraternal Order of Police “Cops and Kids” program. Both charities assist less fortunate children during the Christmas season. “We also want the ride to promote motorcycle safety and awareness”, said Carol Robbins, who is Mikes sister. The ride will depart from the American Legion Post #10, at 1700 South Pennsylvania Street, in Marion Indiana. Breakfast will be available beginning at 9:00 a.m. with the ride starting at 11:00 a.m. The route will travel through Grant, Wabash, Howard, and Madison Counties, and pass by landmarks connected to Mike Andrys life.
