FIRST. No one freak out SECOND It all ended fine. Here is my story. I got home late and took a quick walk. On my usual path there is one section thats pretty dark but I feel fine. Tonight as I was walking, this guy walked up to me, definitely high or something and asked for some money. He startled me but I just said hi. I will admit I was a little nervous at first because he blocked my path but he wasnt aggressive really. I explained I didnt have any money with me and apologized. He said come on, you gotta have something So I said I didnt and tried to walk around him but he blocked me again. So I said I probably had some money in my car that was just up the street if he wanted to walk with me. (Of course my car wasnt up the street) As we walked I chatted with him and told him who I was and stuff. Eventually I got around to talking about my family; eventually told him 2 of my nephews and a few cousins were police officers. He asked who? So I said Jeff Ward ( and named others). He said Jeff ward? So I asked do you know him? He said, yeah, yeah, I know Jeff. And right after that he slowed and sorta walked away from me. No idea who the guy was, friend or foe, but was certainly appreciative for my nephews chosen profession in that moment. Thanks Jeff. :-)
