FIRST THINGS FIRST: The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 29:1-11; Take a cue from Hezekiah...& from King David & Jesus Christ. Each of them gave their realationship WITH GOD TOP PRIORITY. David wrote,The Lord has heard my cry for mercy;the Lord accepts my prayer Psalm 6:9. JESUS got up,left the house & went off to a solitary place,where he prayedMark 1:35.They both put first things first by SPENDING TIME WITH GOD even in the midst of other pressing needs. We have only a short time to make a difference to those in our small kingdoms.We cannot afford not to avail ourselves of GODS WISDOM & STRENGTH.Open the doors of our hearts temple & keep them open as we go about our day, submiiting our thoughts & actions to GOD.Think of JESUS sitting beside us while we drive a car, in our office, at the kitchen table--& talk to him as we would a friend.And whatever possible, schedule extended prayer times into our life when we can choosewhat is betterLuke 10:42 by sitting at his feet & listening to him.
