FISH REPORT WEEK OF: January 24, 2014 TROUT: Double Digit Trout pulled from lake 4!!!! Nik Sorenseene from La Jolla hauled in a 10 lb. 5 oz. Trout from lake 4 on a nightcrawler. This fish qualifies Nik for the April 1st TV drawing. Alexander Heasman and Johnny Gilpin Jr. (age 4) caught 2 impressive Rainbow Trout out of lake 3. Largest tipped the scales at 8 lbs. 13 oz. and the second one at 4 lbs. 15 oz. Both were caught on powerbait/nightcrawler combo. The 8 lb. Trout qualifies them for the TV drawing. Clifford Cabanban from Lemon Grove caught a tagged Trout out of lake 3 on powerbait. Clifford won a rod and reel combo. Plenty of tagged Trout are still swimming in lakes 2, 3 and 4. Catch a Trout 5 lbs. or larger and get entered into the April 1st TV drawing.
