FIT TIP: Do you have a problem or an excuse? A problem has a solution, an excuse does not. "I do not take/have time to workout or eat right is not a problem - it is an EXCUSE! An excuse has the purpose to leave you status quo on your doing and hinder achieving anything. A problem is something specific, a baby step to overcome with a solution. Once you start seeing it as is, you can make small baby steps toward a healthier life for yourself. Face it we are all in the same boat with 24 hrs a day, kids, husband, money issue, ache and pain.... and a gazillions of possible excuses to use our time, resource and energy in a responsible or irresponsible way - For example, a problem is "I need childcare to head to the gym after work by myself" - Solution? Can you cover the cost of the gym child care ( may need to cut back somewhere else), can you trade in a few hours with your neighbor or sister... Another problem is " I have no energy after work to hit the gym. Ask yourself what are you eating at lunch or mid-afternoon and if you need to adjust your sleep schedule. To each problem worded with specifics, there is a solution :-).
