FITNESS TRACKERS - YOUR PERSONAL BUTT-KICKER! Lets face it - you cant motivate yourself all the time! Gradually bad habits sneak their way into your routine... & no one is there to give you that wet-fish slap back into line! Until now... I recently bought a Jawbone UP24, & I love my new health & wellness buddy!! Why? I am a night owl, get home late & stay up too late. It tracks my sleep, buzzes 20 mins before my estimated best bed time, then reminds me if Im not achieving sleep goals with interesting facts, challenges & reminders. Have you ever wondered if the amount of steps you do in a day, correlates with how tired you are? Its surprising - Ive found the less steps I take, the more sluggish I feel! The UP band keeps a constant reminder of how your days activity is progressing, gives you a buzz if youre idle too long, offers challenges & kudos if youve beaten your goals! There are heaps of activities to log, suggestions for things to try & their benefits. Logging food is a bit of an honesty game... If you enter each meal as you eat them, the UP lets you know how much of each macro nutrient youve consumed. This means you can choose wisely throughout the day to balance proteins/carbs/fats/salt/fibre, & understand what you eat.it got the calories, or if youd prefer, gives you a food score, & running tally of how much energy you need compared to what youre burning. All this info is colorfully displayed on your iPhone, easy to access, & quickly charges on a USB. I cant wait for the UP3 to be released with 24/7 HR monitor...!!!
