Cv tingaconsulting@gmail THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL § Grade 12/Standard 10 § National Certificate Engineering Studies N2 § Section 13 Fitter Trade Certificate NQF 3 § Computer Literacy § 3 to 4 years Fitting experience § Certificate of Fitness § Valid driver’s license THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE WOULD BE ADVANTAGEOUS OR OPTIONAL: § National Diploma Engineering Studies COMPETENCIES REQUIRED ARE AS FOLLOWS: Pneumatics and Hydraulics People management skills Problem solving and Communication kills Analytical and Technical skills Interpersonal and Presentation Skills Knowledge of relevant company policies and procedures Knowledge of relevant safety regulations Knowledge of SOP’s and keeping abreast with latest technology Job Specification ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO, THE INCUMBENT WILL REPORT TO THE SUPERVISOR AND THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: § Maintain mechanical equipment in relevant section / department § Overhauling of pumps, gearboxes, alignment of pulleys and couplings § Maintain conveyor, mills, crushers and flotation cells § Perform legal, daily, weekly and monthly inspections on mechanical equipment § Immediate response to any breakdown§ During inspections identify possible defects or problems proactively and suggest corrective action § Ensure that minor defects are repaired on site and major defects are reported and equipment is either temporarily repaired and booked for major repair at workshop, or taken to workshop immediately § Complete safety, injury, hazard, risk and incident reports; allocated work orders sign-off; job cards and description of work and spares used; role administration requirements completed and communicated; planned maintenance schedules and ad hoc reports § Maintain relations with internal customers to ensure departmental needs are met and colleagues are satisfied § Provide relevant and specialised technical support to production teams § Enhance safety awareness throughout working area § Ensure working area and equipment is clean and safe at all times and in good working condition § Ensure and comply with safety standards guidelines, policies and procedures§ PPE is worn during shift and safety rules and regulations adhered to § Declaration of safe working place § Good housekeeping
