FITTING COMPLIMENTS FOR WEDDING COUPLES I had a tete-a-tete - TopicsExpress

FITTING COMPLIMENTS FOR WEDDING COUPLES I had a tete-a-tete with my comrade in a cozy place most-preferred by him. We talked over career and life until our discourse flouted to wedding and marriage. One of our college friends sent a wedding invitation card to him and as expected he laid all his constructive criticisms on the table. I did love that moment when we argued on something significant for us and when we messed up things and fixed them up eventually as we went along the brandishing circumstance of our ideologies and philosophies. I am utterly reminded of a book I perused when I was still in the university I took my baccalaureate degree. I was sparked by the statements inscribed on it which stated the appropriate compliments which must be used to refrain from offending either the groom or the bride. DO NOT CONGRATULATE the bride because it implies that she has struggled, strove hard, and worst sacrificed to win the BIG YES of the groom. Its unfitting to her part in acceptance of the rudiments of a legal and lawful wife after all. It may shatter her womanly ego. Exclaim CONGRATULATIONS! when you greet the groom and utter BEST WISHES! when you compliment the bride. Do not do it vice versa! It may not convey the significant message of your compliments. The purpose per se will be defeated. #justedifyingyou!
