FL - Officer forced to shoot armed suspect, saves woman and two teens - Plant City Police responded to a home after someone called 911 to report an active fire with four people inside. The carport was engulfed in flames- The officers entered the home and immediately rescued two female teenagers, ages 13 and 18 - the children told them their mother was inside a locked bedroom with the suspect - the officers walked around back and could see, through the window, Trung Thanh Do stabbing the woman. Officers repeatedly demanded he stop, but he refused - Officer then fired at Do, who died from a single gunshot wound at the scene. Maria De Los Angeles Ramano was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition with stab wounds to her upper torso. The teens were not injured. They are now in police custody and will be reunited with their mother.
