FLAG DESIGN CONTEST: Ive received approval from our admin staff to start up a Bad Flag to Good Flag contest based on my suggestion the other day. Instead of posting about which flag is worse than the other, we are going to help the flag world and redesign some! Here is how it is going to work: 1) I will make a separate post asking for your suggestions on which flag we should focus on. If you want to offer a suggestion, please upload a picture of the flag. 2) Members will then vote on each flag by using the like button. The flag with the most likes will be the winner. 3) Once a flag is chosen, a new post will be uploaded to this page with the flag image and we will solicit design changes. If you wish to enter the contest, you will redesign the flag in question and upload your new flag image to the same post. 4) Members will then vote on which flag they think is the best with the like button. The new design with the most likes will win the contest. 5) The winner will then prepare a short brief on the flag describing the design and meanings. 6) This brief will be submitted to the municipal officials (mayor, governor, etc) as a possible flag design change. 7) We all hold our breath and see if they adopt our design! Notes: - Any member of the FOTW site can vote - You can vote for more than one flag - You can upload more than one design but dont go too crazy, please - No one wins any money or anything of value, just bragging rights - The municipalities are not asking for us to change their flag so we may not be successful - Void where prohibited by law, no purchase necessary
