FLASH MOB Besant nagar beach The First Classical dance/music Flash mob! Catch young students of Ranga Mandira School of Performing Arts dancing away in the early hours of the morning @ Besant Nagar Beach. Joggers were so surprised!!!!:-) The dancers started with a classical piece and just when everyone was thinking it was a classical dance FLASH MOB, they began dancing to PERSIAN MUSIC! a few seconds later there were voices screaming Sacrilegious, how can you dance BHARATANATYAM to this music !!!! etc. Then the kids laughed out loud and said Really! If you think this music is not ours too, think again and they danced to a classical song on the EXACT SAME NOTES AS THE PERSIAN SONG! It was amazing! Dr.Swarnamalya Ganesh joined the dancers and performed in the end! it was so Fun! She then explained that this was part of FROM THE ATTIC fromtheattic.in She said our arts were multi cultural and our history tells us that.
