FLASH : PM, Sonia cleared T note Oct 03 # Telangananote is likely to be present in the Central Cabinet today at 5 pm. PM Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi approved the note last night. The proposed Telangana state will be consisting of 10 districts including Hyderabad. According to 22 page T note a ministerial committee will be formed to look into the issues of water sharing. AP Government will be asked to start the process of chose the new capital. A resolution will be presented in the AP assembly after Dasara. Seemaandhra leaders are holding an emergency meeting now in Hyderabad to discuss the latest developments. Government has expedite the T process in wake of Chandrababu Naidu’s meeting with Narendera Modi. Meanwhile AICC state affairs incharge Digvijaya Singh said the process to form the state of Telangana is starting now. The Union Cabinet is to take up the issue of the creation of Telangana at a meeting today. All eyes are on the outcome of this meeting that comes amidst conflicting statements. While Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has said that Telangana is high on his agenda, his Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said the formation of Telangana is likely to be delayed and blamed the AK Antony panel for this. Even as the Cabinet is to discuss the issue, the Congress is facing a rebellion of sorts with Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy hardening his stand on United AP. In Rajahmundry, protagonists of Samaikyandhra hailed Reddy for standing firm in his decision even by defying the directions of the Congress leadership to safeguard the interests of the people from Seemandhra region by keeping the state united, in Godavari districts. The supporters including the employees, teachers, lawyers, students and other sections of the people praised the Chief Minister for even going to the extent of sacrificing his post to protect the interests of the people during their meetings held at several places in both the districts. They vowed to continue to support him in his efforts to keep the state united. Meanwhile, Shinde is waiting for the recommendationsof the high- level committee, headed by Defence Minister A.K. Antony, which is hearing the concerns of all stakeholders in the wake of the Congress Working Committee decision on a separate Telangana.
