FLASHBACK FRIDAY - This is my wonderful dog Goldie, and the other photos are of the flood in our back yard at Campbell Town. If you look closely, you can see Goldies kennel I built her in the corner, it was a cage with a roof.......this flood water use to rise to our garage which was along way from this back fence......... it was pouring with rain....very late at night.......mum woke suddenly and realised Goldie was in the kennel and could be in trouble......walked out in her nightie, neck deep in water.....to get the dog out....poor Goldie was on her last legs swimming around at the top of the cage.........it was the only time mum let the dog inside.......to dry off and lay by the open fire..........she saved her life....Dad stayed in bed, typical........notice the two pine trees in the water, they were the ones I got the Christmas tree from, only one there now........cheers
