Wearing your hair natural for African-Americans is an affirmation of being a creation of God as all other men. Some people seem to miss an important point about time and place. Natural at home or at the family picnic can be very relaxed. Natural in a formal setting should not be a matter of artistic interpretation. A natural in a formal setting should be meticulously groomed. Every point on the natural should appear very much like garden hedges trimmed by an expert landscaper. The first picture reflects artistic interpretation but grooming. The second picture does not depict grooming. What do you think about the grooming concept?
