FLASHBACK THURSDAY:REMEMBERING DR. ADDIE GILLICH Dr. Gillich served as a teacher in Danbury most of which at Morris Street School. She was a bold force and took on the challenges of day - whether in school or in community-at-large. Ask Dr Addie was a popular public access program on Comcast for a number of years. She was a devoted mother who fostered all she could afford to her sons Dr. Richard Gillich and Bobby Gillich. While Dr. Addie was at odds with her peer at MSS, she never missed the opportunity to help people. She passed away in the arms of her son Richard while choking on food. Her obit was never published and ashes never publicly announced either. But, theres a continual vigil on Dr. Addies behalf to remember an outstanding teacher who served her fellow educators in Danbury and state too. Holistic medicine was here forte as she co-managed a chiropractic clinic with her son Dr. Richard Gillich in Brewster, NY. RIP:ADDIE
